Arts & Letters

Award Winning Packet

It is with humility that the Arts and Letters Committee of the Fayetteville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. celebrates its national recognition with the entire membership of our Chapter and the Fayetteville community.  The goal of the Committee is always to heighten public awareness about the role of African Americans in the arts. The 2016-17 Sorority year is distinguished by the Committee's focus on a plethora of cultural genre.  Whether it was the Arts Council of Fayetteville, the Cape Fear Regional Theater, the Fayetteville Symphony or films and books with African American themes, the Committee embraced and shared every opportunity to raise the cultural awareness bar in our community and embody the sorority's theme, "On Fire To Inspire." The Arts and Letters Committee of the Fayetteville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is honored to have received the National Arts and Letters Award at the sorority's National Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 5, 2017.
