Greetings,
On behalf of the dynamic and dedicated members of the Fayetteville Alumnae Chapter of Delta
Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, I extend a warm welcome and sincere appreciation for
visiting our website.
Chartered on September 12, 1953, the Fayetteville Alumnae Chapter has proudly served
Eastover, Falcon, Fayetteville, Godwin, Hope Mills, Linden, Stedman, Vander and Wade for over
seven decades. Guided by the vision of our 22 illustrious Founders and grounded in the
principles of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action, we remain steadfast in our
commitment to excellence.
As we embrace the 2025–2027 biennium, our theme is:
“I.M.P.A.C.T. is Our Purpose through Sisterhood, Scholarship, Public Service, and Social
Action.” This theme is more than a motto. It is a call to action. It reflects our chapter’s intentional focus on making a meaningful difference by being Innovative, Mission-Driven, Purposeful,
Accountable, Committed, and Transformative in all we do. Our chapter’s programming is
anchored in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:
Educational Development
Economic Development
International Awareness and Involvement
Physical and Mental Health
Political Awareness and Involvement
With these pillars at the heart of our mission, we aim to uplift, empower, and inspire change
throughout our service area.
One of my favorite quotes by our 10th National President, the honorable Dorothy I. Height,
perfectly captures our collective spirit: “If you worry about who is going to get credit, you don't get much work done.” Together, we work not for recognition, but for results.
Thank you for your interest in our chapter. We invite you to explore our site, learn about our
programs, and join us as we strive to make a lasting I.M.P.A.C.T. in our community.
Sisterly,
Amanda Smith, President
